Tequila
Regional alcoholic beverage obtained by distillation of musts, prepared directly and originally from the material extracted in the facilities of authorized producers, which must be located in the territory included in the Declaration, derived from the heads of the blue variety Weber agave.
Tequila is a liquid that, due to its class, is colorless or colored when matured or when blended without maturing it.
Mezcal
Mezcal is a tradicional mexican alcoholic beverage that can be produced in 9 differents states of the country. It is made by distilling the heart of the maguey plant.
It is possible to find a wide variety of mezcals depending on the type of distillation, in the species of agave used, or the fruits or herbs added to it.
Sotol
Sotol is an alcoholic beverage distilled from Dasylion from the desert of northerm Mexico and the southern United States.
Sotol was originally produced for religious ceremonies and as a medicinal remedy. It is a strong spirit, with an alcohol content ranging from 38% to 45%, and has a smoky flavor reminiscent of woods and earth, which is why it is often enjoyed “in the rocks”.
Bacanora
Originally from Sonora, México.it has a high alcohol content ranging between 38% y 55%.
Similar to tequila and mezcal, Bacanora is mezcal made from the juice of the agave’s head, roasted, fermented, and distilled.
Raicilla
It is a distilled spirit obtained from various types of agave produced in Jalisco. It has an alcohol content ranging between 36% and 45%.
It is brown in color, with a sweet and velvety flavor, so it should be enjoyed cold.
